Our Philosophy

  • We believe that all children should be treated as individuals, equals and unique no matter what gender, age, family structure, or additional needs they may have.
  • We believe in encouraging the children to have respect for themselves, others including tangible items such as equipment and materials.
  • We believe children will experience success and feel confident if they develop at their own pace.
  • We believe in providing a secure and family orientated environment that allows all children to feel at home.
  • We believe that family involvement is the most important and influential part of every child’s development. Families are encouraged and supported to be involved in their child’s development and in the curriculum planning for their children.
  • We believe that educators/staff should develop an open communication relationship with all families and meet individual family needs.
  • We believe that all families be treated as individuals and all information will remain confidential.
  • We believe in communicating effectively with our families to ensure the highest quality of education and care for their children.
  • We believe in providing developmentally appropriate activities and experiences guided by educators through a daily curriculum, which encourages self learning, creativity, and exploration thereby stimulating each child’s desire for learning.
  • We believe in providing experiences for all children that include all areas of development :-
  • Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Social, Emotional, Language and Cognitive development.
  • We believe in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and it’s specific emphasis on play-based learning including the importance of early literacy and numeracy.
  • We believe all children should develop a sense of “Belonging, Being & Becoming” and that this is achieved through five key learning outcomes :-
  • Children have a strong sense of identity.
  • Children are connected with and contribute to their world.
  • Children have a strong sense of wellbeing.
  • Children are confident and involved learners.
  • Children are effective communicators.
  • We believe that all children should have positive role models as their Educators/Carers.
  • We believe that all children, educators and staff should be respecting of different cultural and religious beliefs to ensure individual growth and self worth and equity of all people.
  • We believe that all educators/staff should be valued for their individual knowledge and offer support to each other.
  • We believe that all educators/staff should be treated as part of our team.
  • We believe that educators/staff should maintain a positive relationship with each other.
